Second Nature Research Group adheres to a strict set of operational standards that we apply across the board to every single client, individual or group that we may come into contact with during an investigation.

We obey, and operate with respect to, all local, state and federal laws in the United States of America, and all laws in countries abroad. We are futhermore licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Board and the Supreme Court of Texas and operate responsibly, legally and ethically as a licensed private investigation agency and process server.

Services.

All of our private investigation services and process services require a signed contract wherein the service and fees are spelled out in plain English or plain Spanish before we begin service. There are no exceptions to this rule and this is for your protection and ours. In the event you are unable to agree to a signed contract, we will be unable to provide you with any services.

Cell Phone Records.

We do not provide cell phone records in any form.

GPS Tracking.

We only provide GPS tracking to businesses that wish to track their company vehicles or to legally married people who wish to track their spouse during an adultery investigation or to parents who wish to track their minor children.

Operating without a License.

In the State of Texas, an individual or company is required by law to have a private investigation license or a private investigation agency operators license, issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Board, in order to conduct any kind of investigation for the public as a whole. This does include background checks and any kind of investigative service for real estate tenant screening and computer forensic services or computer/network intrusion detection or penetration testing. If you know of any individuals or companies that are offering tenant background screening or computer forensic services or computer/network intrusion detection or penetration testing, and want to know if they are licensed to do so, you can check their license status right here: Individuals, Companies. In the event, you discover anyone operating without a license, please report it to us and you may receive a reward.
